AAU Absolves Suspended Prof G.B.S Iyalomhe Of Alleged Abuse Of Office, Fraud

 

AMBROSE Alli University, Ekpoma has absolved Prof G.B.S Iyalomhe of alleged abuse of office and fraud which led to the suspension of himself and College of Medicine officials.

You would recalled that the University Management on 29th July, 2022 suspended Prof G.B.S. Iyalomhe as the Provost, College of Medicine.

In a press statement made available to TROJANINSIGHTS.COM through the office of the Acting Registrar, Mr. Ambrose E. Odiase, the institution nullified the suspension letter previously issued to him.

“The query reference REG/SSA/P.2887/286, dated 22nd July, 2022 and your suspension from Office to give unfettered access to the Panel of Investigation into the activities of the Department of Nursing Science, College of Medicine, refers.

“After due investigation of the activities in the Department of Nursing, those found wanting by the Administrative Panel were sent to the Staff Disciplinary Committee having been found guilty of misconduct and gross misconduct, consequent upon which they were dismissed from the service of the University.

“You were found not to be involved in any act of impropriety and misconduct and therefore not culpable in any case of examination malpractice and extortion of money in the Department of Nursing Science. You are hereby absolved of any blame and therefore exonerated. As a result of which you were reinstated as Provost since July, 2022.

“The query and suspension from Office as Provost issued to you is hereby declared null and void and of no effect”, The statement reads.
