FORMER Minister of Petroleum Resources, Chief Don Etiebet, CON, has felicitated President Bola Tinubu on the appointment of technocrats and industry experts into top positions at the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPC Ltd.
Engineer Bashir Bayo Ojulari was appointed to replace Mele Kyari who was removed on Wednesday by the President.
The entire Board of the NNPC was reconstituted, a mive which saw Tinubu’s trusted ally, Chief Pius Akinyelure, lose his position as Chairman of the Board of the national oil company.
Etiebet in a reaction to the development said:”I write to congratulate Mr President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on the appointment, this time round, of Petroleum industry technocrats and well-deserving industry experts into the new Board of NNPCL.
