FEDERATION of International Football Association (FIFA) President, Gianni Infantino has backed Shehu Dikko to succeed in his new assignment.
Dikko, who is a member of the FIFA Stakeholders Committee, was recently appointed Chairman of National Sports Commission (NSC).
The NSC has been revived following the scrapping of the Ministry of Sports Development by the Nigerian government.
Infantino believed Dikko’s experience will be vital in his new task.
“I am convinced that your knowledge and experience, but also your passion and personal qualities, will have a significant impact will have a significant impact in the accomplishment of your new tasks,” he wrote in his congratulatory message.
“I wish the best of luck, and every success for all the challenges that lie ahead and already a lot satisfaction in your new position.”
