Obaseki Appeals Court Ruling On Kabaka’s Demolished Hotel, Despite Needless Plea

EDO State Governor Mr. Godwin Obaseki has appealed court ruling over the demolition of Edo State APC youth leader Comr. Tony Kabaka’s hotel.

Mr Tony had gone on his kneels before the governor for forgiveness a few days after the state high court, Benin city had on Thursday December 17th 2021, directed the Governor to restitute demolished hotel to its original state before it was brought down.

recall that Mr. Tony Kabaka Adun asked an Edo State High Court to order the Edo State government to rebuild his T. Latifah Hotel and Suites that was demolished 2 years ago.

The Edo State government had claimed to have pulled down the hotel in its ongoing efforts to remove illegal structures erected on government property,

Kabaka had filed an application asking the court to order the state government to return his hotel to the state it was, before suits were filed before the court.
