THE National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the postponement of the party’s zonal congress in the North Central, South South and South West Zones.
Naija News reports that the zonal congress were earlier scheduled for Saturday, April 12, 2025.
This was made known in a statement to journalists on Thursday night by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba.
The postponement of the Congress is in solidarity with the Governor and people of Plateau State over the recent killings in the State as well as to enable State Governors in the affected Zones attend and fully participate in the PDP Governor’s Forum meeting scheduled to hold in Ibadan, Oyo State on Sunday, April 13 and Monday, April 14, 2025.
