PROTEST: Sowore Shocks With Response To Onanuga’s Accusation Of Obidients

Sowore remains our presidential candidate, says AAC | TheCable

SOCIAL activist and publisher of Saharareporters, Omoyele Sowore has countered Bayo Onanuga over his post calling out supporters of Peter Obi as the brains behind the protest the presidential aide alleged is planned to topple the Bola Tinubu administration.

GWG.ng reports that the response of Omoyele Sowore is coming as several other Nigerians also claimed that the protest was not politically motivated but hunger-induced.

Onanuga had in a post on Saturday accused supporters of Obi of seeking to get through the protest what they failed to get through the ballot box.

The presidential aide had as such called on security agents to intervene and arrest them. Peter Obi had in response denied any role in the planned protest. Some leading supporters of Obi including Patrick Utomi who Onanuga called out have also denied, though a number of active Obidients have been posting on the protest.

However, responding to Onanuga, Omoyele Sowore who was not called out but has reportedly been pushing for protest said:

The drivel from a sinking regime. There is nothing that could stop an idea whose time has come. It doesn’t matter how you frame your fears and shenanigans, and the truth is that Nigerians are tired of the deceit, corruption, wickedness and incompetence of the ruling class and have opted to act from all locations at once.

GWG.ng reports that Omoyele Sowore who had in the past been at odds with Peter Obi and his supporters may have shocked some by not joining Onanuga to hit at the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate.

Meanwhile, other Nigerians were at the weekend weighing in on the development:
