THE Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara, Alhaji Tukur Danfulani has donated N10 million and 100 bags of rice to the party executives in the state.
In a statement issued in Gusau on Saturday, the State APC Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris said the gesture was aimed at assisting the party executives to perform Ramadan worship with relative ease.
Idris said that Danfulani presented the money and the rice to the state Secretary of the party, Ibrahim Dangaladima for distribution among the party executives.
According to him, the chairman said the gesture is in appreciation of the hardwork, dedication and support of the party’s leaders towards the success of the party at all levels.
“This is also to improve the welfare of the party’s leaders and motivate them to be more proactive while discharging their assigned responsibilities,” Idris said
According to him, Danfulani also congratulated the Muslims for witnessing the holy month of Ramadan.
He called for special prayers for lasting solutions to the security challenges facing the state and some parts of the country.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Dangaladima thanked the Sstate party chairman for the invaluable gesture.
He described the donation as timely and assured that the cash and items would reach all the targeted beneficiaries.
